WEEE Dsiposal

An ever growing mountain of electrical and electronic refuse exists in all of Europe. Each consumer generates an average of 16Kg of this type of rubbish each year that corresponds to 6 million tonnes each year in Europe. It is of course a ridiculous waste of resources and a great danger to the environment. White goods and electronic appliances contain highly toxic heavy metals and pollutants. With the new EU norms producers will now have to pay for the disposal of these goods.

The cathode ray tube is the harmful part of monitors and televisions because of the phosphoric powders contained inside and because of the composition of the conical glass.
